When you go into your House, you can click on the Face tab to change your user's appearance.You're able to change the facial features, as well as changing your hairstyle and colour.
There aren't any restrictions, so you can do as little or as much as you want.You don't have to spend any coins to unlock the features as well! Once you're happy with how your character looks, just come out of the tab - you don't need to press save.
